A basic weekday program can match air conditioning use to your routine. Start with one easy-to-check schedule and review what it actually does before adding more complex events.

Before you start
Confirm your controller version, local day and time, and any existing timers. Write down when the rooms are occupied and check the AirTouch instructions for the screen you have.
Step-by-step tutorial
- Open Programs. The AirTouch 5 guide uses the Quick Menu and Programs, then New Program.
- Name the routine. Choose a plain label such as Weekday Evening so another user can understand it.
- Set the time window. Enter the intended start and end times using the format shown on the console. Review the days selected rather than assuming every program is weekday-only.
- Choose the affected equipment. Check the normal zone configuration and the units affected. Start with basic settings and leave advanced options alone until understood.
- Test and review. Observe the first event while you are present. Check that another timer or app routine does not create an unexpected restart.

Check the result
Record the active days, start and end times, selected rooms and intended mode. Review the program when holidays or working hours change. A schedule should reduce unwanted operation, not make the household less comfortable.
Stop and get professional help if needed
If the menu differs from the guide, do not experiment in installer settings. Get help if the system changes unexpectedly, the zone map is uncertain or the control arrangement is shared across several units.
A common question
Does a schedule guarantee a lower bill?
No. Savings depend on use, weather, equipment and electricity pricing. The practical first outcome is a program that operates only when and where it is intended.
